DC Engagement Session: Myka & Kris
Not many people look forward to taking photos of themselves. So, when I get an opportunity to take engagement portraits for a couple like Myka and Kris, it's less about posing and more about creating a fun, intimate environment and providing direction that lets them just be themselves. Kris is the ever-jokester, known for his quick wit and sense of humor. "Funny" is one of the first words that comes to mind when Myka thinks about her fiancé. When I asked him what words came to mind when he thought about his love, he said "smart, creative, beautiful." The rest is just documenting their playful nature and letting their love shine through.
